The Illinois DOT collaborated with Asphalt Materials, Inc. to analyze the life extension and cost benefits from the use of VRAM/LJS across the state of Illinois.
They found, "Life extension of joint experienced to date is 3 to 5 years." This additional service life provided a 3x return on investment in VRAM/LJS.
