UDOT’s 2025 Innovation and Efficiencies Report showcases VRAM as a product that mitigates potholes and premature cracking along the longitudinal joint. UDOT reports, "It is anticipated that reducing air voids with VRAM will extend the cracking performance and life of the longitudinal joint by up to 4 to 5 years."
Calculations found $335,775 of maintenance-cost-avoidance for just 2.5 miles of a VRAM test road.
