How long have you worked with J-Band?
I’ve been working with J-Band for 5 years.
What’s your favorite part about working with J-Band?
Working with everyone on the team to improve and grow J-Band and other specialty products. I’ve gained valuable knowledge from each of my teammates on a number of different topics. The collaboration within the team has made for a great atmosphere to work in.
What goals do you have for J-Band?
I would love to see J-Band continue its expansion and growth continue outside our core market in the Midwest. Making roads last longer starting from the centerline joint is the next step to growing the asphalt pavement industry as a whole.
What makes the J-Band product so unique?
J-Band is a material approach to joint issues, not a mechanical approach. It is the only product designed to fit into the paving process in the longitudinal joint area.
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy golfing, skiing, concerts, brewing beer, watching movies, music, camping, watching sports, and going on walks and runs with my dog.
Describe your family.
My family is native to Indiana, and my parents currently still live in Carmel, IN. My sister, brother in-law, and 6-month old niece recently relocated to St. Louis from Washington DC. We are all diehard Colts fans and are reluctantly becoming St. Louis sports fans.
What is a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I have briefly piloted and flown a plane.
